This series is very,very, veeeerrrryyyyy goooooddddd

I found it about a week ago and devoured the 3 books that are currently out as soon as I got them. (Basically a book a day XD)

This series, for those too lazy to google,
is about a dhampir (half-vampire) named Rose (Rosalie), who is a 'guardian' - or, training to be anyhow. Her best friend, Lissa (Vasillissa), is a Moroi (full vampire) and is also a princess. She has oddly not yet 'speacialized', while most Moroi are best at one certain element went they hit their teen-age years...
The Strigoi are the souless imortal vampires who crave Moroi blood. They used to be either human,moroi, or dhampir. Basically, a gaurdian's job is to protect the Moroi they're assigned to from these creatures. But both dhampirs and Moroi are fading fast...

This book matures a lot as the main character does, and it can get pretty deep at times...

Just take a look at it, it'll be seriously worth it
